Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Occasional anxiety is a normal part of life. Many people may worry about things such as health, money, or family problems. But people with GAD feel extremely worried or nervous more frequently about these and other things—even when there is little or no reason to worry about them. GAD usually involves a persistent feeling of anxiety or dread that interferes with how you live your life.

Trauma/ PTSD

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disorder that develops in some people who have experienced a shocking, scary, or dangerous event. Symptoms of PTSD can include: flashbacks, nightmares, avoiding people/places/things that are a reminder of the trauma, feeling on tense or on edge, difficulty concentrating, and more.

Depression

Depression (also known as major depression, major depressive disorder, or clinical depression) is a common but serious mood disorder. It causes severe symptoms that affect how a person feels, thinks, and handles daily activities, such as sleeping, eating, or working. Types of depression include major depressive disorder, persistent depressive disorder, and seasonal affective disorder.

Women’s Issues

Women’s issues concerns anything that affects a woman’s mental, and potential physical health. This may range from gender roles, stereotyping, sexism, motherhood, childbirth, infertility, prenatal/perinatal depression and anxiety, body image, and more.

Interpersonal/Relationship Issues

Exploring and navigating issues among relationships with others; platonic, romantic, familial, and friendships. Some common interpersonal issues you may be struggling with are: difficulties communicating and/or listening, lack of confidence, social isolation and withdrawal, dependence, conflicting values and beliefs, arguments and miscommunication.
